V70208 is an AS568-208 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.609 in (15.47 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.887 in (22.53 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, aggressive chemicals, and engine and transmission fluids. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).

It sees regular use in automotive fuel systems, chemical processing, and high-temperature process equipment.
