-214 BLACK FKM 75D O-RING

The V70214 is an AS568-214 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.984 in (24.99 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.262 in (32.05 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is known for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The material holds up against aromatic hydrocarbons, aggressive chemicals, and engine and transmission fluids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to ketones and esters or hot water and steam will shorten service life.

Common environments for this compound include automotive fuel systems, high-temperature process equipment, and semiconductor equipment.
