APG stocks the V70219, an AS568-219 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.296 in (32.92 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.574 in (39.98 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

This material stands up to aggressive chemicals, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to ketones and esters or hot water and steam will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in aerospace, oil and gas, and high-temperature process equipment.
