This o-ring is supplied in AS568-221 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 1.421 in (36.09 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.699 in (43.15 mm), catalogued under part number V70221. It delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

Viton® (FKM) delivers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. Expect good resistance to engine and transmission fluids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and petroleum oils and fuels. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in amines or ketones and esters.

It sees regular use in high-temperature process equipment, chemical processing, and aerospace.
