The V70226 is an AS568-226 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.984 in (50.39 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.262 in (57.45 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material holds up against engine and transmission fluids, aggressive chemicals, and chlorinated solvents. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service.
