The V70231 is an AS568-231 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.609 in (66.27 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.887 in (73.33 mm). This o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

The material holds up against chlorinated solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, and engine and transmission fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is known for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and outstanding high-temperature capability. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids are present.

It sees regular use in high-temperature process equipment, oil and gas, and automotive fuel systems.
