The V70280 is an AS568-280 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 13.984 in (355.19 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 14.262 in (362.25 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, aggressive chemicals, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or ketones and esters.

Typical settings include automotive fuel systems, oil and gas, and chemical processing.
