V70310 is an AS568-310 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.475 in (12.07 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.895 in (22.73 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against aromatic hydrocarbons, many acids, and engine and transmission fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving ketones and esters or amines call for a different compound.

Typical settings include high-temperature process equipment, oil and gas, and semiconductor equipment.
