Part number V70312 is an AS568-312 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.6 in (15.24 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.02 in (25.91 mm). An o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) delivers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. This material stands up to many acids, chlorinated solvents, and aggressive chemicals. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in amines or ketones and esters.
