-318 BLACK FKM 75D O-RING

Ordered as V70318, this is an AS568-318 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.975 in (24.77 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.395 in (35.43 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, engine and transmission fluids, and aggressive chemicals. Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or amines are present.
