The V70336 is an AS568-336 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.85 in (72.39 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.27 in (83.06 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The material holds up against engine and transmission fluids, aggressive chemicals, and many acids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam are present.
