APG stocks the V70372, an AS568-372 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 8.725 in (221.62 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.145 in (232.28 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

It resists chlorinated solvents, petroleum oils and fuels, and aggressive chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.
