This o-ring is supplied in AS568-400 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A with an inside diameter of 1.35 in (34.29 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.9 in (48.26 mm), catalogued under part number V70400. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Expect good resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, many acids, and chlorinated solvents. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where amines or ketones and esters are present.
