-401 BLACK FKM 75D O-RING

V70401 is an AS568-401 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.475 in (37.47 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.025 in (51.44 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is specified for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material holds up against aromatic hydrocarbons, many acids, and chlorinated solvents. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines call for a different compound.
