V70422 is an AS568-422 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.1 in (104.14 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.65 in (118.11 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

This material stands up to engine and transmission fluids, chlorinated solvents, and aromatic hydrocarbons. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines are present.
