The V70434 is an AS568-434 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.6 in (142.24 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.15 in (156.21 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for outstanding high-temperature capability and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, many acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to ketones and esters or hot water and steam will shorten service life.
