The V70437 is an AS568-437 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.975 in (151.77 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.525 in (165.74 mm). This o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) delivers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Applications involving ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids call for a different compound.
