V70440 is an AS568-440 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 6.725 in (170.82 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.275 in (184.79 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to petroleum oils and fuels, aggressive chemicals, and engine and transmission fluids. Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to hot water and steam or amines will shorten service life.
