Part number V70466 is an AS568-466 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 18.455 in (468.76 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 19.005 in (482.73 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is specified for outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. It resists many acids, chlorinated solvents, and petroleum oils and fuels. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving amines or ketones and esters call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in automotive fuel systems, oil and gas, and aerospace.
