The V70470 is an AS568-470 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 20.955 in (532.26 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 21.505 in (546.23 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material holds up against aggressive chemicals, petroleum oils and fuels, and many acids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in semiconductor equipment, aerospace, and automotive fuel systems.
