V70472 is an AS568-472 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 22.94 in (582.68 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 23.49 in (596.65 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The compound resists engine and transmission fluids, aggressive chemicals, and many acids. Viton® (FKM) delivers the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines call for a different compound.

Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across chemical processing, aerospace, and semiconductor equipment.
