Ordered as V70911, this is an AS568-911 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.863 in (21.92 mm), a cross section of 0.116 in (2.95 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.095 in (27.81 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. It resists engine and transmission fluids, many acids, and petroleum oils and fuels. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where amines or hot water and steam are present.
