-016 BLUE FKM 75D O-RING

Ordered as V75MD016, this is an AS568-016 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.614 in (15.6 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.754 in (19.15 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, aggressive chemicals, and many acids. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Common environments for this compound include oil and gas, aerospace, and chemical processing.
