An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

It resists aromatic hydrocarbons, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. Viton® (FKM) is valued for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation.
