The V75MD218 is an AS568-218 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.234 in (31.34 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.512 in (38.4 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) is valued for very low compression set at elevated temperature and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. This material stands up to aromatic hydrocarbons, engine and transmission fluids, and petroleum oils and fuels. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
