-331 BLUE FKM 75D O-RING

Ordered as V75MD331, this is an AS568-331 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.225 in (56.52 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.645 in (67.18 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and chlorinated solvents. Viton® (FKM) is valued for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving ketones and esters or amines call for a different compound.

This o-ring meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include oil and gas, chemical processing, and semiconductor equipment.
