-004 BLUE FKM 75D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-004 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), catalogued under part number V75MD004. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The compound resists engine and transmission fluids, chlorinated solvents, and many acids. Viton® (FKM) is valued for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters will shorten service life.
