-018 BLUE FKM 75D O-RING

APG stocks the V75MD018, an AS568-018 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.739 in (18.77 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.879 in (22.33 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The material holds up against chlorinated solvents, petroleum oils and fuels, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids call for a different compound.

The compound meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Common environments for this compound include chemical processing, oil and gas, and automotive fuel systems.
