-024 BLUE FKM 75D O-RING

APG stocks the V75MD024, an AS568-024 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.114 in (28.3 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.254 in (31.85 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. The material holds up against many acids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and engine and transmission fluids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in amines or hot water and steam.

The compound meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. It sees regular use in oil and gas, aerospace, and automotive fuel systems.
