Ordered as V75MD144, this is an AS568-144 blue Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.487 in (63.17 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.693 in (68.4 mm). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, petroleum oils and fuels, and chlorinated solvents. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids.

This item meets FDA requirements for food contact, carries NSF listing, and is metal detectable for HACCP and foreign-body control programs. Typical settings include aerospace, oil and gas, and high-temperature process equipment.
