Ordered as V75049, this is an AS568-049 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 4.989 in (126.72 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.129 in (130.28 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

It resists petroleum oils and fuels, aggressive chemicals, and many acids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is valued for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids.
