This o-ring is supplied in AS568-136 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 1.987 in (50.47 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.193 in (55.7 mm), catalogued under part number V75136. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, petroleum oils and fuels, and many acids. Viton® (FKM) is known for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to amines or ketones and esters will shorten service life.
