-204 BLACK FKM 75D O-RING

Ordered as V75204, this is an AS568-204 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.359 in (9.12 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.637 in (16.18 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

It resists petroleum oils and fuels, many acids, and engine and transmission fluids. Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam are present.

It sees regular use in oil and gas, aerospace, and high-temperature process equipment.
