-248 BLACK FKM 75D O-RING

Part number V75248 is an AS568-248 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.734 in (120.24 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.012 in (127.3 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. This material stands up to many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in amines or hot water and steam.

It sees regular use in aerospace, oil and gas, and high-temperature process equipment.
