-261 BLACK FKM 75D O-RING

V75261 is an AS568-261 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 6.734 in (171.04 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.012 in (178.1 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is specified for outstanding high-temperature capability and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. This material stands up to many acids, petroleum oils and fuels, and aggressive chemicals. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines call for a different compound.

Typical settings include aerospace, oil and gas, and chemical processing.
