-383 BROWN FKM 75D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-383 brown Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 13.975 in (354.97 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 14.395 in (365.63 mm), catalogued under part number VB75383. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) delivers the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The compound resists engine and transmission fluids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and petroleum oils and fuels. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones and esters or hot water and steam.

It sees regular use in semiconductor equipment, oil and gas, and high-temperature process equipment.
