APG stocks the V75428, an AS568-428 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 4.85 in (123.19 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.4 in (137.16 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) is specified for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Expect good resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, many acids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving ketones and esters or amines call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in aerospace, semiconductor equipment, and automotive fuel systems.
