-449 BROWN FKM 75D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-449 brown Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 9.975 in (253.37 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.525 in (267.34 mm), catalogued under part number VB75449. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is valued for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, chlorinated solvents, and aggressive chemicals. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to hot water and steam or ketones and esters will shorten service life.
