-455 BLACK FKM 75D O-RING

Ordered as V75455, this is an AS568-455 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 12.975 in (329.57 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 13.525 in (343.54 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The compound resists chlorinated solvents, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to ketones and esters or amines will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in aerospace, high-temperature process equipment, and chemical processing.
