Ordered as VB75912, this is an AS568-912 brown Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.924 in (23.47 mm), a cross section of 0.116 in (2.95 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.156 in (29.36 mm). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. It resists many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids are present.

Typical settings include automotive fuel systems, oil and gas, and aerospace.
