-001 BLACK FKM 75D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-001 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A with an inside diameter of 0.029 in (0.74 mm), a cross section of 0.04 in (1.02 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.109 in (2.77 mm), catalogued under part number V75001. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material holds up against engine and transmission fluids, petroleum oils and fuels, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters are present.
