-006 BROWN FKM 75D O-RING

The VB75006 is an AS568-006 brown Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.114 in (2.9 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.254 in (6.45 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. This material stands up to aggressive chemicals, chlorinated solvents, and many acids. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in automotive fuel systems, oil and gas, and high-temperature process equipment.
