-018 BLACK FKM 75D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-018 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 0.739 in (18.77 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.879 in (22.33 mm), catalogued under part number V75018. It compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Expect good resistance to petroleum oils and fuels, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) offers outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in amines or ketones and esters.
