This o-ring is supplied in AS568-028 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 1.364 in (34.65 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.504 in (38.2 mm), catalogued under part number V75028. It compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) delivers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. It resists aggressive chemicals, chlorinated solvents, and many acids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
