APG stocks the VB75040, an AS568-040 brown Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.864 in (72.75 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.004 in (76.3 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, chlorinated solvents, and many acids. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids.

Typical settings include chemical processing, high-temperature process equipment, and oil and gas.
