Ordered as VB75042, this is an AS568-042 brown Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 3.239 in (82.27 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.379 in (85.83 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) delivers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. Expect good resistance to engine and transmission fluids, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service.
