APG stocks the V75047, an AS568-047 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 4.489 in (114.02 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.629 in (117.58 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

It resists engine and transmission fluids, petroleum oils and fuels, and chlorinated solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is known for outstanding high-temperature capability and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving ketones and esters or amines call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in automotive fuel systems, high-temperature process equipment, and semiconductor equipment.
