Ordered as V2.5X10, this is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 10 mm (0.394 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 15 mm (0.59 in). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Viton® (FKM) delivers very low compression set at elevated temperature and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Expect good resistance to many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids are present.

Typical settings include oil and gas, automotive fuel systems, and chemical processing.
