Part number V4X100 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 100 mm (3.937 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 108 mm (4.25 in). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and engine and transmission fluids. Viton® (FKM) is known for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to ketones and esters or hot water and steam will shorten service life.
