V2X10.5 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 10.5 mm (0.413 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 14.5 mm (0.57 in). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for outstanding high-temperature capability and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. This material stands up to engine and transmission fluids, chlorinated solvents, and aggressive chemicals. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids call for a different compound.
